May 12, 2026·4:303On finding resonance…#thoughts—4:30transcripttap a line to jump0:01good morning it is the 12th of may and it's currently 6 35 a.m um my voice is a little0:09raspy i feel like i don't know like should you guys be hearing my voice sound like this i don't0:15know but um i'm getting ready to go in for work i'm going to sfc day it's like a one-hour commute0:22um i just have a thought on my mind right i think it's very interesting the type of things i find0:28inspire me every single day now for example we're watching kevin arts funny af and as i continue to0:39watch each episode i just think to myself there's nobody that's on this show that's not been doing0:45this for a ridiculous amount of time like we're talking 10 years 14 years majority of them have0:51been doing this for a very long time there's one guy that lived in a van for 10 years and is also1:00on the show as a comic and i was just thinking to myself like there's no way ain't no way you you1:07you have to have jokes for days because like what do you mean you've lived in a van for 10 years1:13what jokes everywhere the van is a joke your life is a joke everything around you is a joke1:19all the camping sites you've stayed is a joke and the reason why all of this was just so inspiring to1:26me is i have to remind myself every day that i'm still on my journey to finding resonance or1:32finding my flow and whenever i do i hope to feel the fulfillment that comes from just doing something1:41you truly enjoy without feeling like it has to amount to anything for most of those people it1:48doesn't matter whether they made it to the finals or they won or whatever they found that they were1:52on stage doing their set for five minutes ten minutes whatever the case is that was more than1:57enough it's the same feeling i get every time i go to church where like i look at the folks that are2:02ministering and in my head i'm like there's just no way you absolutely love what you do and you do2:09this because you are deeply passionate about it and you deeply love it and as i continue to like go on2:14my regular days of showing up at work and doing these and doing that i just think to myself oh boy2:20like does this really make me happy you know yeah i'm okay what are you going on with your eyes2:29i don't know what do you mean like you have the is this on my reading i am recording an episode2:37on my website oh shit do you want to say hi well people can hear me hi okay so um yeah that's michael2:47michael is my husband and i guess you guys would get a lot of michael references so i guess let's just2:55see the idea now michael is everyone's husband great3:03i don't know why he's laughing at me but yeah so overall overall i yeah i feel like we're not meant3:15we're not meant to be robotic we're not meant to be living this very routine robotic life that has3:22no life or soul i think every single person is meant to create and meant to do something that3:27truly genuinely speaks to them and until you get to that point where you find that thing that makes3:34you tick that thing that you can do without having the sense of time passing the thing that gives you3:39like true flow resonance state i feel like you know we're just always going to be on that journey of3:46searching our soul looking for its anchor in something it's why i feel like it's why people3:53like nothing in their life might make sense but just having the ability to like maybe play that3:59instrument does it for them they're happy they're refreshed everything just makes sense and i truly4:06envy that those are the type of things i envy in life just being at complete peace and contentment4:12with oneself bro those are the things that genuinely aspire towards um but yeah that's my morning thoughts4:22for today i hope you have a great day out of you and i'll talk to you next time4:27you
